Sustaining New Healthy Habits

A couple of blog posts ago, we talked about creating new habits. Now we continue on the topic of HABITS for results. How do we sustain these new habits and be consistent in them?





Perfect reps, perfect does not mean flawless it means constant, form is constant, body position is constant, and reps are done properly, balance is set each time you shoot, head is up on every play. Staying consistent in the new habits lead to sustainability.


If you are pressured by a defender, battling to stay in triple threat or else driving to the basket or shooting will constantly be difficult, sustainability of perfect reps in a skill leads to overall results.


Now, results aren't instant, in most cases. Still, quality reps, constant disciple lead to sustainability over time. Two-handed shooting release form will never read to consistent scoring. Still, proper form, quality release point and consistency lead to sustainability.
